POP on Fridays!

Last St. Patrick's day, walking around BA's downtown I found the most misterious and fun place!

A few meters away from the corner of Cordoba Ave and Suipacha St, a big door opens up your way into a long hallway...at the end, hiding betwen office buildings, Soma, a former church and home to "La nave de lo sueños" and "Parakultural" , symbols of 80's and 90's indie movement has been spicying weekends up for the last couple of month.

With free admission on Fridays and $8 on Saturadays (Before 2 am, includes a drink!) Soma turns out to be a very relaxed and fun place to hang out with friends.

When you need a break from the electronic BA scene, Soma offers the best pop tunes. Where else could you dance to
The Clash, The B52`s, Blur, The Strokes, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Franz Ferdinand, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Zombies, Supergrass, Blondie, Mano Negra, The Specials, The Velvet Underground, The Beach Boys, The Police, Iggy Pop, Sublime, Babasonicos, Elvis Presley, Weezer, The Raveonettes, The Who, The Ramones, The Hives, The White Stripes, Black Sabath, The Beastie Boys, Violent Femmes, Elvis Costello & the attractions, Madness, The Talking Heads, The Libertines, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Primal Scream, T-Rex, The Soft Boys, Madonna, Pulp, New Order, Miranda, Billy Idol, Soda Estéreo, Blind Melon and more!??

So, with cheap drinks ($8 for VERY STRONG COCKTAILS!), great tunes and fun people...Soma makes it to the official "Friday night plans" list!
